Improve Your Natural Beauty before the end of the Year

It is already nearly the end of February and by now many people will have given up on their new years resolution!

But why not just aim to be a better you? - it's far more achievable and doesn't require a personality transplant.

One of the things you could focus on this year is enhancing your natural beauty and being a better version of yourself without chemicals, makeup or plastic  surgery. That means embracing your skin, detoxing your body and finding ways to cleanse your mind too...

EXFOLIATE
One of the best beauty tips for better skin starts with a good and consistent skincare routine. So aside from removing your makeup and washing your face every night, you should also take the time (only a couple of times a week) to deep cleanse your skin with a little exfoliation. Exfoliating rids the skin of the surface dry skin cells making it the easiest way to improve the smoothness of your skin.

CUT OUT THE VICES
Living a healthier lifestyle is usually at the top of everyone's goals. Whether it's joining a gym, or eating more fruit, or quitting smoking, being healthy is always a popular resolution. So why not make a massive change this year and stop doing something that will result in feeling and looking better?

Smoking and drinking are two major vices for many of us that can have huge negative effects on the skin and overall physical appearance. Also, eating less sugar (as miserable a life as that may sound) will do wonders for your complexion.

Why not give it a try for 30 days and see what a difference cutting out just one negative vice may do?



DRINK MORE WATER
Another popular resolution that usually goes out the window by April is drinking more water, and it happens to be one of the best things you could do for your health. It takes up no time nor does it cost any money, and yet it can give you the best skin you've had since you were a newborn.

There are some great apps and motivational water bottles that can help you monitor your daily intake of water and keep you on the right track.

Within days you'll notice that you have more energy, glowing skin and feel less tired.

SMILE
As Beyonce once said, one of the most beautiful parts of a woman is her smile, and the more you do it the better you will look and feel. It may be hard to muster one up sometimes, but even if you have to fake it at first, you'll soon find that it becomes your most worn accessory.

STOP STRESSING
Last year there were a lot of things going on around the world that, I'm sure, caused many of us to worry and despair. Fingers crossed that this year is a little easier on us because stress is not good for the mind or the body.

Not only does stress often lead to wrinkles, grey hairs and generally faster physical ageing, but it can also make it difficult to sleep - and lack of sleep is not good for the skin either. So maybe take up yoga or meditation or book yourself a relaxing holiday, whatever it takes for you to 'de-stress' every once in a while.
